Where can I find available updates?

By logging in to the "Aquarius" tool just click "Updates" to see if new versions of your plug-ins are available.

Do I have to authorize updated plug-ins again?

What is the difference between normal and "live" plug-in versions?

Due to the preamp stage being deactivated the „Live“ version needs much less CPU power, so you can run more instances of your plug-in. The sound is of course different compared to the normal version with te preamp stage engaged.

Are updates free of charge?

Yes. Updates for your already purchased products are free of charge unless otherwise stated. Also the „Live“ version of dynmaic tools is complimentary for all existing customers. We would like to say thank you for your support and your patience with this addition to your existing plug-in versions.

Is an iLok needed for activation?

No. Please use the "Aquarius" tool to install your plug-ins. The authorization of your products is done automatically during the installation process. You can find the latest installer of "Aquariu" in your customer account under "My Downloadable Products".

Can I use an external hard drive to install plug-ins for using them on different systems?

No. Your personal key is hardware and OS related. The installation tool "Aquarius" will take care of the authorization process for your products automatically as soon as you install them on your system.

How can I authorize my purchased plug-ins and trial versions?

Please use the Aquarius tool to install, authorize and update your purchased full version and trial version plug-ins. You can download Aquarius from "My Downloadable Products" in your user account.

Can plug-in trial versions be upgraded to full versions?

No, trial versions cannot be upgraded to a full version so far.

What needs to be done after purchasing a plug-in?

Please download and install "Aquarius" first. Just log in to your account and select „My Downloadable Products“. Your purchased plug-ins are listed in there with a download link to obtain the "Aquarius" installer. Having installed "Aquarius" to your system, please log in using your Prime Studio customer account credentials. Your purchased products are listed under "Purchase". Just click "Install" of your preferred product and your are all set. Aquarius will install the chosen product version and will authorize the plug-in for your system automatically.

Which plug-in formats are available?

Prime Studio® plug-ins are currently available as VST, AU and AAX version for OS X. On Windows PC systems VST and AAX versions are available. Please see the minimum system requirements for more details.

Where to find MAC & PC installers for Aquarius?

In your customer account you will find the corresponding version of "Aquarius" for your Mac or PC system under "My Downloadable Products". Please log in to Aquarius with your customer account credentials and you are ready to install your products.

Can I authorize my purchased plug-ins with the activation tool on your website?

No. The authorization tool in our webshop was for use with legacy trial versions only! Please use the new "Aquarius" tool to install and authorize your purchased full version and trial version plug-ins. You can download the latest version of "Aquarius" under "My Downloadable Products" in your Prime Studio customer account.

Is it possible to activate bundled plug-ins at once?

The new installer tool "Aquarius" is taking care of the installation and activation process for your purchased plug-ins. Please choose your preferred plug-in and version and click "Install" and you are all set. Installing multiple plug-ins at once is not possible so far but is planned to be available in a future update of "Aquarius".

How long do trial version work? Are there any limitations?

Trial versions are fully functional for 30 days from the date being authorized on your system.

Where do I find the plug-in folders on my system?

That depends on the OS used. Please refer also to the user manual of your plug-ins.

The following requirements should be covered by your system for smooth operation of our plug-ins. Please be advised that the following system requirements are for your orientation only. Every system has different preconditions. Therefore the performance of each system is completely different.

Please feel free to install our trial versions first. You have the possibility to use the full functionality of our products for 30 days and test if your system is compatible with our plug-ins. If you have any questions please contact our support, we shall be happy to assist you.
