Which equipment will be used for my mix?

You have the unique possibility to choose the flavor of an analog console beforehand. Depending on your specific project needs (track count, genre, special wishes) our engineers will choose the proper analog outboard gear for your mix. If you want us to use some special gear for single tracks please choose our sparkle services additionally (e.g. for adding a Neve Pre/EQ or Fairchild 670 compression to your tracks).

You can send either WAV or AIFF files consolidated to one specific start point (e.g. bar 1, beat 1). Please make sure that your are using proper x-fades and fades before consolidating your tracks. The higher the sample rate and bit depth you choose to cut your tracks the more possibilities we have to properly mix your prints. Be aware of leaving enough headroom and avoid any digital clipping or unwanted distortion in your files. Clipping can not be removed in the mix process. We can not accept files that are clipping. We are not up-sampling your recorded tracks for mixing. The quality you are sending us will define the quality and resolution of the online mixing project and its final output resolution. PLEASE DO NOT UP-SAMPLE YOUR TRACKS TO HIGHER SAMPLE RATES THAN THEY HAVE BEEN RECORDED AS THIS WON’T IMPROVE QUALITY AND THEREFORE DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENCE!

How should tracks be labelled?

If uploading multiple songs for mixing please provide us always with the same labelling and track order to simplify session setups for your mixing projects. Please start labelling your tracks like this always with a two digit count starting like „01_TRACKNAME“. Following these simple steps will save you and our engineers a lot of time which will be used for your mix.
